Another different style here, this is more progressive and has some very beautiful lyrics and instrumentation. I have known Grice for a very long time but this was the first time that we’ve been able to work together in the studio. It’s a very filmic and sweeping sounding album which takes you on many different and interesting musical rides & twists. The sessions were recorded at NAM Studios and engineered by Tyler Spicer who always nails a great drum sound. We recorded the drum tracks on a marathon 2 day session which was very hard work, but most enjoyable!

The kits I used were my DW Collectors and my 1968 Ludwig Super Classic with Vulcan Cymbals, both kits sound brilliant and perfectly suit the material.
