MODERN ENGLISH – ‘EVERYTHINGS MAD’

Modern English 'Everything's Mad' This album was recorded in New York in 1996 at ‘The Planet Studios’.
The band flew me out to play on a selection of tracks and the sessions were very enjoyable, the drum kit I was using was a battered Yamaha set, with a Ludwig 400 that I found hiding in a corner of the studio. This was my first trip to NY and the whole experience was very cool. The tour that followed was epic and took me all over the States and Canada, meeting some interesting people along the way. The single, ‘Elastic’ is one of my favourite tracks on the album and I am still happy with that drum sound and loose feel on the groove.
