This was recorded in one day at Real World Studios in Box, England.
Producer Steve Osborne and I met up again during my sessions for Charlie Jones album ‘Love Form’ and he asked me to come play on this Simple Minds session.

The track was recorded in 3 sections, the first pass was a bass and snare drum take. The second a hi-hat part and thirdly a crash cymbal take.
Charlie Burchill was around for the whole session and was his usual enthusiastic self, he is a complete diamond to work with!

The finished track has extra sounds added onto my drum kit part, but it all sounds totally fantastic.

I enjoyed my time in the recording studio with the band and they are certainly iconic artists of their generation!
